Weight: 276-350 kgs liveweight at time of delivery.
Price: $1300 - $1350 per head delivered to quarantine.
Type C: Breed: Holstein-Friesian heifers
Pregnancy Status: (<22 wks PTIC at delivery)
Age: 15-20 Months
Weight: 350-499 kgs liveweight at time of delivery.
Price: $1350 - $1400 per head delivered to quarantine.
Pedigree
China pedigree requirements apply:
The vendor must sign a Heifer Information Form at the time of selection
Property of origin
The heifers must have been on the property or origin for a minimum of 6 months.
Vendors must sign a 'Cattle to China' vendor declaration when completing the sale contract.
NLIS tags
All cattle must be NLIS tagged at time of inspection
Cattle health
Cattle are purchased on the basis that the property of origin has clearance for export to China, the cattle are eligible for an Australian Dairy Breeding Animal Certificate, the cattle pass all required onfarm disease tests, and at the time of delivery to quarantime are healthy and fit for export.
Animals will be subject to a breeding soundness check by an accredited veterinarian at time of entry into quarantine. Any animal failing this inspection will be rejected from the shipment at vendor risk. This is a condition of sale.
Cattle with a hernia, ringworm warts or other sign of ill-health must not be presented for selection or delivered to quarantine.
On-farm disease testing is required and will be carried out by vets nominated by Elders International, at the cost to Elders International.
Conformation
Animals will be subject to Holstein Australia True-to-Type inspection at time of entry into quarantine. Any animal failing this inspection will be rejected from the shipment at vendor risk. This is a conditon of sale.
No predominantly white or predominantly black cattle will be selected.
Must have four white socks. No docked tails.
Polled or cleanly dehorned cattle only.
No spare teats. Any spare teats must be removed before selection.

Joined Heifers Preg Test Fee - $9/hd
